World of Warcraft First Aid Advice and Secrets

WoW First Aid: How to Take Your WoW First Aid Skills from 225-300

Well, hopefully you find yourself standing in Theramore and you're ready to take your WoW First Aid to the next level. In order to do this you must complete the "Triage" quest given by Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen. He will ask you to heal 15 soldiers who have been injured in battle. Keep in mind you must heal the critically injured first, then badly injured, and finish with the injured. Allowing six of them to die will result in a failed quest.

The easiest way to complete this is by standing in the middle of the room and clicking on each soldier. Then all you have to do is click the Triage bandages the doctor gave you and it will start healing them. Once you have healed the 15, this quest will be completed and you will earn the rank of Artisan for your WoW First Aid. Now it's time to start working your way towards the 300 skill level.

Adding New Patterns

After you receive your new accomplishment, talk with Doctor Gustaf again. He will teach you how to make the Heavy Mageweave Bandages (must be 240), Runecloth Bandages (must be 260), and Heavy Runecloth Bandages (390). In order to reach all three of these skill levels you will have to make the regular Mageweave Bandages. Hopefully you grabbed this book from Deneb Walker in Stormgarde Keep. Then of course you will need Mageweave so bring plenty along.

By the time you use up the RED and Yellow points of Mageweave Bandages, the ability to have both the Heavy Mageweave and Runecloth patterns should be available. If you brought enough cloth, the regular MB will get the skill level up to around 266. This is of course if you bring around 100 sheets. Once you've got the other three patterns it will be smooth sailing all the way to 300.

Master First Aid: Doctor in the House

Your adventure in Theramore is over once you reach the WoW First Aid skill level of 300. In order to open it up to 375, you will have to travel to Hellsfire Peninsula. There the journey takes you to the Temple of Telhamat, which is far west to the Dark Portal area. Once the destination is reached, head up the stairs until you see an opening trail on the left hand side. Around the corner is a Medic named Burko.

He will sell you the Master First Aid: Doctor in the House book that offers the ability to take your skill level to 375. Unfortunately though your Runecloth pattern will be at a GREEN level, which means the chances of you reaching 330 and learning the Netherweave Bandages is virtually impossible. However, you should have learned the Heavy Runecloth Bandages pattern at 290 from Doctor VanHowzen. We'll discuss this soon.

What to Do Now

For those of you who didn't bring enough cloth to work on the next level, head back to the AH in Stormwind. We recommend purchasing 140 sheets of both Runecloth and Netherweave. If you really want to make sure you have enough while in Hellsfire Peninsula, grab about 200 apiece. Don't worry, if you have some cloth left when you're finished you can always resell them in the Auction House. After all, cloth is a hot commodity there.
